Traditional Counseling: A traditional counseling session is a standard talk therapy session. During a traditional counseling session, we will have a conversation centered around resolution of the presenting issue. This therapy option is recommended for individuals seeking supportive counseling around general daily living issues such as work related stress and navigating life transitions.
EMDR: EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. This mind-body based therapeutic approach is one that involves reprocessing traumatic and/or stressful experiences on a cognitive level while also incorporating the body through use of tapping. This allows the individual to go much deeper into traumatic memories in a safe and controlled setting. By re-exploring traumatic memories and incorporating body tapping, the individual is able re-process these memories in a much healthier and effective way. Because the individual is going deeper in this therapeutic approach, the sessions tend to be longer and the overall time in therapy tends to be much more brief. This therapy option is recommended for individuals seeking counseling for trauma recovery, anxiety, depression and addictive behaviors.
Couples Counseling: Couples counseling is offered for couples who are having a hard time seeing eye-to-eye. In a couples session, we would work together to strategize and create new pathways of behavior to support a healthier relationship. This therapy option is recommended for couples who are struggling with issues such as poor communication, infidelity, trust issues and lack of intimacy.
Clinical Supervision: As a CCE Approved Clinical Supervisor, I offer clinical supervision to counselors who are still working towards independent licensure. Clinical supervision would be on a weekly basis and will be strength-based and collaborative in nature. Reach out to me. I’d love to support you on your journey towards becoming an independently licensed professional counselor!

Good Faith Estimate Disclosure
As of January 1, 2022 all healthcare providers must provide a “Good Faith Estimate” to those patients who are private pay or are billing insurance Out-Of-Network. This law does not currently apply to patients who are using In-Network benefits.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your healthcare, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
If you are unable to attend a session, please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice. Otherwise, you may be required to pay for the full cost of the missed session.
* At this time, only Cigna insurance is accepted. I am considered an Out of Network provider for all other insurance panels. Individuals who do not have Cigna will be private pay clients. If you have Out of Network coverage as a part of your benefit package, you may be able to get my fee reimbursed to you through your insurance provider. Feel free to contact me for more information.
